well my pony is a rock star..
so, rode Lex today. She was fabulous, and we schooled around a few fences. Our warm up fence was 2’6”, then we just canter to the 3’ fence like it was nothing. She’s such a champ, and the way I’ve been riding lately she can jump the moon. How sad is it that we’re probably showing 2’6”? oh well, it’s easy to jump a couple fences- not as easy to jump a hard course.
Except because it’s on a different day then E’s showing they’re contemplating put E and Lex in the hack. First of all, she’ll be exhausted and I’ll want to kill myself. Second of all, Emma doesn’t ride Lex well AT ALL. I’m sure she would if she rode her more, but it’s such a stupid idea. I don’t want to ride a horse that is tired as hell around- that’s not fair to me or the horse. four classes is enough, the mare isn’t getting rode 7 days a week.
